Crystals & Stones
Not all stones are crystals but all crystals are stones.
Crystals are the formation that stones can make.
Stones have been used for thousands of years for healing and all over well being.
Different stones and crystals can be used in conjunction with each other to get certain results.
(Healing, meditation, happiness, love, prayer, connecting with angels/spirits, etc.)
Stones act like sponges when it comes to energy. Although they seem solid, they do absorb energy.
Stones such as Quartz crystals have been used in watches for many years, because they oscillate
(vibrate back and forth) at a precise frequency: exactly 32,768 times each second.
"LCD" screens used in televisions and electronics contain crystals. LCD= Liquid Crystal Display
Chances are, most people do not even realize that they use crystals everyday in most electronics.
Silicon crystal is a good semi-conductor and is used to make computer chips used in virtually all electronic equipment today.
Silicon Valley, in California was named after the silicon crystals used in computer chips.
Stones can and will pick up and store positive or negative energy, so it is a good idea to clear and charge your stones regularly.
They can (and love to be) charged by many different methods.
You can use the Sun, Moon, Water, and Earth depending on the particular stone's makeup.
Note: Some stones will fade in sunlight (such as Amethyst), and stones (such as Selenite) will begin to crumble in water.
So, know what type of clearing/charging is best for your stone.
Often, stones and crystals will choose you.
Go ahead and pick one up, see how it feels. Some stones feel better to you than others.
The best method is to let the stones choose you, rather than the other way around.
They will move on when they need to.
This happens especially with stones that are charged or infused with Reiki energy.
There have been many who have left a stone in a certain location in their homes or elsewhere,
only to find it had been moved into another room with no one or no pet near it.
Stones have also been known to show up out of the blue after missing for weeks, months and even years.
